I'm not a big fan of overly posed images, or forcing the kids to stand still and smile at my camera. I believe in messy, puddle-jumping joy. Sweet, candid moments between you & your loved ones. Ear-to-ear smiles on your littles as we run around and play together. These are the portraits that are bursting with emotion—and the moments you'll want to look back on forever.

frequently asked questions

HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I EXPECT IN MY GALLERY?

For portrait sessions, like engagements, couples, families, maternity, and newborn, you can expect around 50+ photos in your gallery! For weddings, it varies. I do not have a "set amount" that I provide, as each wedding day is always unique! But, to give you an idea, I would expect anywhere from 120-130 photos/hour of coverage.
WHAT IF WE FEEL AWKWARD TAKING PHOTOS?

When you work with me, you won't have to worry about what you should be doing, where you should be looking, or even what you should do with your hands! Once your session starts, I will spend some time to chat with you and your partner, family, and/or friends so I can get a sense of how everyone is feeling. Then, throughout your session, I will guide you and coach you through the poses and prompts. I'll provide clear, easy-to-follow prompts that will help us get the flow going, so that by the end of the session, you'll feel completely at-ease in front of the camera. DO YOU PROVIDE STYLING ADVICE?

Yes I do! Once you book, I can send you my complimentary styling guide to help you prepare for your session. Still feeling unsure? No worries--you can send me photos of your options or ideas and I can provide tailored advice just for you! :)
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

For each session I do, I include up to 60 miles of travel to and from the location. Any additional travel will be charged at .60/mile. For weddings, up to 80 miles round trip are included. Any additional travel will be charged at .60/mile. For destination weddings, I have a wedding collection, the Crimson Collection, that includes travel in the investment.
HOW CAN I ORDER PRINTS?

You're more than welcome to place your print orders through me! Every one of your galleries will have a link to your personal, high-quality print shop, where your photos will already be loaded and available to select for many different products! It makes printing a breeze, and the quality and color-correctness is guaranteed! However, you are not required to order prints through me. When you sign your contract, I release print rights to you so you can print wherever and whenever you'd like.
WHAT KIND OF GEAR DO YOU USE?

I have 2 Nikon full-frame, mirrorless cameras and 1 Nikon full-frame, DSLR camera. I also have multiple lenses for capturing alllll your good angles, but my go-to would be my 35mm f/1.4 portrait lens or my 24-70mm f/2.8!
